EXFOLIATING SPUN SUGAR FACE MASK

Calling All Fairies is an exfoliating glycolic face mask with cranberry and raspberry essential oils. I normally use it once a week and it leaves my skin feeling soft and clean. Who doesn't like to feel like a fairy every once in a while? 

  There is a slight burn which is common with a glycolic face mask. Leave the mask on for 5-10 minutes and rinse. I love the way my skin feels after rinsing off the mask. I usually follow up with one of our moisturizers such as Moisturizer 911.

Perfectly Posh Describes the Mask as a mask that will revive dull, tired skin to reveal a dewy, luminous complexion. Glycolic acid gently exfoliates without abrasives, while cranberry and raspberry seed oils feed the skin with essential nutrients, and witch hazel tones. Calling All Fairies also features a light spun sugar and berries fragrance that’s out of this world. To use, apply a thin layer to clean face and neck, avoiding eye area, then leave on for 5–10 minutes. When you’re done, rinse with warm water and moisturize to feel the magic.

Why is My Face Red after I use a glycolic mask?

If you notice your face is a little red or tingles after a face mask such as this one, don't worry...It's normal!! The redness comes form a localized surge in circulation. If you experience more than a tingle, or if the pain is above a 5 on the 1-10 scale it should be removed, used less frequently, and decrease the amount of time on the skin.

 Giving Me Life, has Kaolin clay as an ingredient so I was curious to see if my face would turn red because Kaolin is known to cause redness and burning that can last about 15min. The reason that some people may experience the red, sometimes hot sensation is because of the increase in blood circulation.

I Love the scent  of SNUGGLE BUDDY

SKIN JOY BODY BUTTER. It's light and the description says the scent is fresh, dewy flowers snuggled with amber vanilla. 

I'm not a huge fan of floral scents but this is nice and light. It's thicker than the average skin joy because it focuses on more of a healing affect on dry skin.  The Aloe vera makes this ideal for particularly dry, itchy, or angry skin.

What are these  bumps on my arms!?

Keratosis Pilaris is a pesky annoyance.  Look no further! There are ways to decrease the appearance of bumps caused by the buildup of keratin, a protein in the skin.   I believe it's important to look for products that do not have a bunch of fillers and nasty chemicals. It seems common sense to me that if you use irritating chemicals to fix a problem you may not see the desired results.  But, that's my opinion. You can see for your self. Check what worked for me! 

1) Adopt a sensitive skin cleansing routine.

2)   Exfoliation

Regular exfoliation is the simplest way to reduce the bumps.
