~Eucalyptus: Eucalyptus oil is anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and antibacterial. The oil is also a skin-conditioning agent used to treat skin infections and help alleviate skin irritation.

~Pink Grapefruit: is high in Vitamin C. Research has shown that grapefruit benefits include hydration, reduction in fever, and fights fatigue. A reduction in fever is another grapefruit benefit. Fighting fatigue with grapefruit benefits is a very big deal for those with head colds. Grapefruit benefits, those with a nasal infection, upper respiratory infection or the flu.

~Tea Tree:Tea tree (Melaleuca) oil has anti-microbial, anti-viral, and anti-fungal properties which help with the treatment of acne, dandruff, rashes, sunburns, and other skin conditions. Tea tree oil comes primarily from Australia and is noted for its fresh, camphor scent.

~Safflower oil: Safflower oil  is known to be more calming to the skin. Safflower oil is colorless and is widely used in cosmetics.

It's Cold Outside...Winter Skin Problems?

Baby, it’s cold outside, and your skin needs some extra love and care. Lotions you use in the summer may not cut it when it comes to the sever winter dryness. It's time to bring out the heavy duty hydrating lotions such as Snuggle Buddy skin Joy body butter to help your sensitive winter skin. This is an extra treat for those of us who tend to have a drier skin type. My skin gets chapped and ashy, when cold weather is present.

It's Cold Outside...Winter Skin Problems?

Here are a few tips that are useful to keep your skin feeling healthy and comfortable when it's cold outside. Wash your face with lukewarm water to avoid stripping the skin of its natural oils. My favorite face wash is Perfectly Posh BFF Best face forever wash. Use a moisturizer on damp skin right after washing your face. My moisturizer of choice is Moisturizer 911. For acne prone skin I would choose Night and Day Moisturizer.

EXFOLIATING SPUN SUGAR FACE MASK

Calling All Fairies is an exfoliating glycolic face mask with cranberry and raspberry essential oils. I normally use it once a week and it leaves my skin feeling soft and clean. Who doesn't like to feel like a fairy every once in a while? 

  There is a slight burn which is common with a glycolic face mask. Leave the mask on for 5-10 minutes and rinse. I love the way my skin feels after rinsing off the mask. I usually follow up with one of our moisturizers such as Moisturizer 911. 

EXFOLIATING SPUN SUGAR FACE MASK

Perfectly Posh Describes the Mask as a mask that will revive dull, tired skin to reveal a dewy, luminous complexion. Glycolic acid gently exfoliates without abrasives, while cranberry and raspberry seed oils feed the skin with essential nutrients, and witch hazel tones. Calling All Fairies also features a light spun sugar and berries fragrance that’s out of this world. To use, apply a thin layer to clean face and neck, avoiding eye area, then leave on for 5–10 minutes. When you’re done, rinse with warm water and moisturize to feel the magic.

Why is My Face Red after I use a glycolic mask?

If you notice your face is a little red or tingles after a face mask such as this one, don't worry...It's normal!! The redness comes form a localized surge in circulation. If you experience more than a tingle, or if the pain is above a 5 on the 1-10 scale it should be removed, used less frequently, and decrease the amount of time on the skin.
